Our Story

Ellis Electrical Contractors, LLC, formerly Krecl Electrical Contractors, Inc., was founded in 1987 and incorporated in January 1988 by David Krecl, a licensed Unrestricted Master Electrician in the southeast since 1985. Our company was established to provide electrical installations and services for residential and commercial/industrial properties. With longstanding key employees, many of whom are still with us today, we have grown into a very successful entity. As a result of our dedication to quality and reliable workmanship, the company rapidly attained a loyal client base through the years, which quickly became 80% commercial, 15% industrial, and 5% residential. In 2010, the name was converted to Ellis Electrical Contractors to capture other markets including MBE (Minority Based Entity) and WBE (Women's Based Entity) opportunities.
